I still don’t quite understand what happened to the banana at the end. Did it get eaten by the zombie? It kind of looks like it committed seppuku.

Well, you’ll notice the zombie apple walks off saying “must consume banana”. So, I assumed that, after the kids got blown off by the overlords, but before they killed the apple, Mr. Banana got his ass killed.
I guess it could be otherwise.
But it wasn’t.

Bananas have a taste inconsistent with my happiness. I don’t have anything against them otherwise. I hear they are some very nice fruit if you get to know them.
