Indiana Jones and the Interlocking Brick of Destiny

Holy shit. I was not at all prepared to like Lego Indiana Jones as much as I did. I thought it would be okay, but nothing special. Man, was I wrong. This game is about as fun as it gets.
You play a lego version of Indy in a world where all the scenery, vehicles and enemies are made of Legos. You can smash pretty much everything you see into its respective lego pieces, which is pretty fucking fun. Who doesn’t like smashing stuff? But you don’t just smash Legos apart. You can build Lego vehicles, bridges and other objects too.

I’ve spent much of the last two days playing a game that most Xbox fanboys tore through many moons ago, namely Bioshock. I can’t believe it took me this long to get around to it, frankly. I totally expected it to be good. I just didn’t expect it to be this good.

Mass Effect: Bring Down the Sky

Here I was, thinking that Mass Effect wouldn’t be getting expansions. Actually, I wasn’t thinking that. I hadn’t even considered it. But here it comes, all the same. Bring Down the Sky is an upcoming expansion for Mass Effect that is supposed to pack in about 90+ minutes of fun. For the pretty reasonable price of 400 MS points, no less. If this interests you (and dear god, how could it not?), you can get it on XBLM March 10th. It supposedly is the first of many expansions (or downloadable content offerings) to come. To which I say this; I heart you, Bioware.

Sweet Jesus on a Pogo-Stick!
Unless you’re my wife or my brother, you have no way of knowing how much I love Bionic Commando for the NES. Well, if that last sentence didn’t clue you in, I love it. I love it like no other game from my youth. And it’s coming to Xbox Live Arcade. No, I’m not talking about the remake (which actually looks pretty good). I’m talking about the original game. Actually…it’s like the original’s older, cooler brother. You know, the guy who will let you borrow his nudie-books, defend you from bullies and sometimes let you hang around and suck up the cool air he and his friends are breathing? That brother. This game is like that. The game has the same levels and basic game-play, but the graphics have been improved, there are new weapons, there’s two-player co-op and you can PICK UP SHIT WITH YOUR BIONIC ARM! Ok. Enough outta me. Watch this video.
