More Lost = Slightly Less Lost

Gotta say, I’m lovin’ Lost this year. The initial three episodes do a lot of things well, but what they do best is demonstrate to those of us who have watched it since the beginning that the writers knew what they were doing all along. Events that happened seasons ago that I thought had just been dropped are starting to pay off. Claire’s disappearance, the mysterious illness that Rousseau claimed afflicted her entire crew, the black smoke and more. It’s all tying together. Sure, it doesn’t quite make sense yet, but you get the idea that it soon will, and more importantly, that it will make sense and will fit neatly with the previous seasons.
Has anyone in this family even seen a chicken??
This won’t be as enjoyable to you if you haven’t seen the show. Which you can do for free over at their Hulu page. C’mon!

The Death Of A Giant

You may remember a few posts last year about a show called Human Giant. At the time, it was the funniest sketch comedy show I had seen in a long time. Not only did I watch every episode last year, I watched it over and over again.

Sweet Dee’s Dating A Retard
If you’ve never seen “It’s always Sunny In Philadelphia“, you’re missing out on one of the funniest television shows ever to grace the airwaves. It’s not for those that are easily offended, but those that are easily offended rarely laugh anyway, so fuck them. The episode embedded above is one of my favorites, with the oh-so-politically-correct title of “Sweet Dee’s Dating a Retard.” If you can watch this and not laugh out loud, then you’re beyond my help.
