All hail our new Republican Overlord

To those that voted for Hillary Clinton in the Primaries: Do you want a Republican in office again? Do you really want more of the same? Because voting for Hillary is pretty much guaranteeing a Republican victory. Republicans HATE Clinton. Shit, I can’t stand her. And I’m no Republican. Faced with the choice of McCain or Clinton……fuck. Clinton would get my vote, but grudgingly. It’s Kerry all over again. A candidate I’ll vote for because I fear the alternative. Can’t we once get a guy or gal up there who is better than the lesser of two evils? Someone that people vote for because they believe in them, not because they don’t want the other guy to win?

It’s not been decided yet, but the delegate count is still in Clinton’s favor. So, if you have a vote in an upcoming primary, USE IT. And please, use it to vote for someone who can inspire people. Use it to vote for someone who you can believe in. Use it to vote for Barack Obama.

Vote today!

If you live in one of the Super-Tuesday primary states, make sure to go to the polls and have your voices heard. If you’re a republican, I could give a shit who you vote for, as none of them are any good. Well, I guess McCain’s the least offensive, since he’s not a religious nut trying to change the constitution. He’s just a pandering warmonger. Which, I think, is a little better? Tough one….

If you’re a Democrat, however, I urge you to cast your vote for Obama. I know, I know. A year ago, I said it would be near impossible for a black man to become president in a country which is still, in certain areas, very racist. But, amazingly, Obama’s supporters continue to grow. I’m thinking his mass of fans could actually counter-balance the folks who would never want a black man in the oval office. He’s charismatic, compelling and someone who inspires people to believe in him. Hilary, on the other hand, stands no chance of beating the Republicans. Even democrats (those I’ve talked to) don’t really like her. I know I don’t. She’s a panderer, and, as far as I can tell, power-hungry as all get out. Of course, if she wins the nomination, I’ll end up placing my vote for her. Well, not for her so much as for “Not The Other Guy.” But that’s all I’ll do. Like with the bland and uninspiring Kerry, I’ll vote only to keep the other guy out of office. But I won’t be able to, with a straight face, support her. If Obama wins the nomination, I’ll support him. I’ll vote for him. I’ll campaign for him.
