03.23.07On Anger
Unfortunately, being clinically depressed means, or can mean, that you are also quick to anger. I really try to monitor this, but sometimes it gets away from me. I saw this quote today from Buddha, and it pretty much sums up my anger issues better than anything I’ve ever read.
Holding onto anger is like grasping a hot coal with the intent of throwing it at someone else; you are the one who gets burned. – Buddha
