I’ve spent much of the last two days playing a game that most Xbox fanboys tore through many moons ago, namely Bioshock. I can’t believe it took me this long to get around to it, frankly. I totally expected it to be good. I just didn’t expect it to be this good.
It’s fun, deep, atmospheric and immersive. If there are any other adjectives that one would use to describe a stellar game, consider them likewise applied. It’s all of those things you want a game to be, wrapped up into one beautiful package. The graphics are amazing, the sound excellent and the gameplay is near-perfect.
This is a game that screams to be played in the dark, with the surround sound cranked up. Because, in addition to everything else I’ve said about it, the game has moments that will make you shit yourself and jump out of your seat at the same time. While that may not seem like a good thing, you won’t notice. You’ll be too busy playing the game to care. Which is why I play it in an adult diaper. Saves on clean-up afterward.
If you’ve got a 360 or Gaming PC, I couldn’t more highly recommend this game. It won’t disappoint you. If I were a guy who rated things, I’d rate it an A. If I were a guy who didn’t rate things, I’d have left out that last line.

You prompted me to quickly put the disc in and finish off the ending of the game. I didnt realise I had got to the final boss battle and then not played it again.
I am now 200 achievement points to the good!

I have never played this game, but want to simple based on the fact that the world is loosley based on Ayn Rands writings. Who have ever thought that would happen.
